Description:
At the completion
of this fellowship program, the graduate should have a commanding
knowledge of virtually all clinical problems related to pathology
of the shoulder. The graduate will also be conversive in the
latest publications related to disease of the shoulder and elbow.
The diagnosis and management options of both common and unusual
pathologic conditions related to the shoulder and elbow should be
understood. The graduate is expected to be skilled in the
surgical techniques consistent with the most currently available
technologies. The graduate should be able to critically
review and discuss orthopaedic research issues specifically
related to the basic science and clinical science of shoulder
related pathologies.
