Fellowship Description:
This fellowship is designed to provide exposure to a large volume and variety of reconstructive and traumatic surgical problems in the shoulder and elbow.  There are seven full-time faculty members.

The fellowship includes four three-month rotations on surgery services: two focusing on shoulder reconstruction, one focusing on elbow reconstruction, and one focusing on arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and elbow problems.  The Fellow performs preoperative consultations and participates actively in surgical procedures and postoperative patient management.

In addition, the Fellow is active in conferences and in the development of clinical research projects, utilizing our carefully monitored patient registries.  One position is available beginning August 1.  Interviews will be conducted between Labor Day and early December.  Positions will be offered beginning in mid-December.

This fellowship is ACGME accredited.

Duration:   1 year
Deadline:  October 2
Stipend:    Commensurate with level of training plus benefits
Location:   Mayo Clinic and affiliated hospitals
