The ASES has partnered with OrthoBullets to deliver a seamless experience from online payment to earning 10 SAE credits that are sent directly to ABOS.

Research Webinar Series

The ASES Research Webinar series was developed by the ASES Research Committee to help surgeons learn more about research methodology. Hosts Robert Tashjian, MD and Peter Simon, PhD will discuss the key concepts behind excellent clinical, basic and multi-center research with various expert panelists.

Practice Management Webinar Series

The Practice Management Webinar Series was put together by Dr. John Sperling and the Practice Management Taskforce to help to further educate our members on ways to improve their practice. Recordings of each session will be available to view here at any time.

Fellow’s Core Curriculum Series

The ASES Education Committee has developed a 16 week Fellow’s Core Curriculum Series, with a primary focus for the topics: “What tortures me in the office and the OR”.   Unlike other educational offerings, these sessions are case-based with pearls on exam, imaging, workup, prep/drape, surgery, and post-operative care-more specific and detailed with questions and discussion – No to little PowerPoint.  We want people to feel open and confident to disagree and have meaningful discussion providing all sides of treatment options. Recordings of each session will be uploaded to our website the week after it airs live on Zoom.

Virtual Journal Club

A nationwide virtual journal club run the ASES, covering a combination of contemporary and classic articles relevant to specific topics with the shoulder/elbow space. It features content experts on each topic, as well as authors of the featured contemporary articles. Fellows from ASES programs and residents interested in shoulder and elbow surgery are featured and urged to participate in the discussion.

Exchange Fellowship Program

The Exchange Fellowship Program was established in 1993 and provides maximum exposure to the major shoulder and elbow centers in the US and Europe.
