Fellowship Description:

The vision of the Stanford Shoulder Elbow Fellowship is to train and develop excellence in the next generation of shoulder and elbow surgeons. We are located in the Silicon Valley at a major, world renown, tertiary referral center.  Thus,  a wide variety and high volume of complex shoulder and elbow pathology is treated here, including primary and revision arthroplasty, rotator cuff disease across the continuum, instability, and pathology in the overhead athlete.  The surgeons perform over 600 shoulder and elbow cases per year. Approximately 40% of the cases are primary and revision arthroplasty, 45% are arthroscopic shoulder surgery (including cuff repair and instability), and 15% are elbow procedures.
The fellow will participate in monthly journal clubs, weekly didactics including Monday indications conference and Friday post conference, and have ample opportunity for research.
