Event Description:
The National Shoulder and Elbow Awareness Week event will be held at the St. Francis Yacht Club on Wednesday night September 28, 2022. The event will highlight Thay Q. Lee, PhD presenting what he has learned about the rotator cuff through his studies. Heinz Hoenecke, MD presenting why monkeys can’t throw a baseball. Lastly, Owen Gray, an individual who has overcome his own shoulder injury and after surgery achieved an outstanding and unique accomplishment. A strong academic session will take place including the Japanese Traveling Shoulder Fellows and the top 3 research abstracts presented by the lead authors followed by questions and discussion. A winner being announced that night. We are both grateful and excited to have Duckhorn Winery providing an outstanding selection of wines. Lastly, we will look towards the future of orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgery with hands on exhibits and dedicated networking time with our industry partners.
