National Shoulder and Elbow Week is an opportunity for the American Shoulder and Elbow Foundation to increase awareness nationally about the impact that shoulder and elbow health care has on our society.

This first inaugural year will host 5 events held in major cities (Atlanta, Nashville, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Tampa) that will allow patients, local community leaders, and the shoulder and elbow community of providers (surgeons, therapists, nurses) to connect, speak with fellow practitioners, as well as present innovations in the field.

The National Shoulder and Elbow Week is organized by the ASES Foundation’s Committee on Patient Centered Initiatives (Chair: April D. Armstrong, MD, FRCSC). The committee exists to promote shoulder and elbow medicine to the public and increase patient engagement, as well as create educational materials for patients to provide support and education.

National Shoulder and Elbow Week is also made possible through generous support from industry partners.
