Surgical Outcomes System Now a Benefit to ASES Members

Surgeons who are members of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) now receive the Surgical Outcomes System™ global registry as a member benefit. SOS, an orthopedic and sports medicine global registry, allows surgeons to collect and analyze patient outcomes and procedures. ASES members can incorporate SOS into their practice at no additional charge. The Surgical Outcomes System collaborates with societies and associations to unify their members’ patient outcomes collection for healthcare operations, research and publication, and validation of outcome measures. This is the third orthopedic society to support SOS for patient reported outcomes collection; Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and Eastern Orthopedic Association (EOA) currently offer SOS as a benefit of membership.  For more information, visit https://surgicaloutcomesystem.com/ or contact us at SOS@Arthrex.com

The American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) is devoted to the education of patients.  Please visit our Patient Education page for our patient educational resources.
