Fellow Member

Eligibility

To apply as a fellow member one must be an accepted osteopathic or allopathic Fellow in an ASES recognized shoulder/elbow fellowship OR a shoulder & elbow, sports, arthroscopy, or hand fellowship in a program in which one of the faculty is an Active ASES member.

Term Limits

Eligibility to apply as a Fellow member starts once an applicant is matched with their fellowship program. If accepted, membership will terminate at the end of the calendar year in which their fellowship ends. If the member does not apply to advance to Candidate member status their membership would be terminated. If they do apply to advance, their membership would remain active until the results of the membership process are determined. If approved they will advance to Candidate member. If denied their membership would be terminated at that time.

Criteria for Membership

  • Interested applicants may apply for membership once they are accepted in a fellowship program with an ASES Active Member;
  • Application must be accompanied by a supporting letter from the Fellowship Director (if the Fellowship Director is not a sponsor).
